Project Synopsis

SHAKTI project is by the women of Rural MATHURA, UTTAR PRADESH , and has been setup to be run by them. The Land of Gods – Mathura who make Lord Krishna’s clothes and these ladies to empower themselves decided to make – Bags & handmade bag charms after learning stitching skills for more than 1 year guided by KADAM, a West Bengal based Rural skill empowerment Society and supported by HMVL (Hindustan Media Ventures Limited).

  1. Monitoring the training on-site of the beneficiaries.
  2. Monitoring the production on-site by the beneficiaries.
  3. Ensuring the CIG’s created get slowly empowered to handle their own productions
  4. Ensuring materials & supplies for production & training available on time.
  5. Quality & quantity checks done on a regular basis.
  6. Monitoring the wages earned by each beneficiary.
  7. Keep a tab of the CIG orders received and account as well
  8. Training beneficiaries to handle their CIG account.
  1. Teaching new product making ( School Uniforms) as per high quality standards.
