Anu from Gossna, who once upon a time was looked down at for being from a lower caste is now one of the leading women in the village; and has even decided to go back to school. She not only manages banking transactions of the SHG setup for them but also sources the raw materials. At first, being from a lower cast had been an issue but now she works with the other women under the same roof in harmony and also drink from the same water source. Anu and her sister saved money now and have supported their father in building a toilet in their house.
After undergoing training, 29 women decided to start working as entrepreneurs from their own homes. These women whose leaders have been voted from this group itself will be using this website to get bulk bag orders for themselves. 10 to 12 women who also underwent training did not officially start working but still feel a sense of empowerment. Some women stitch uniforms and bag for government schools.
